How does LAGA hope to promote competitive amateur golf?

LAGA works with golf professionals, coordinates a volunteer staff, and establishes a healthy relationship with local businesses with the goal of running quality tournaments that are pleasing to competitors, sponsors and the community.

What tournaments does LAGA hope to coordinate during 2008?

Overall we were quite pleased with the tournaments we sponsored in 2007. Participation grew, comments were positive, and we received a great deal of encouragement to continue our efforts. In 2008, we are coordinating another single BIG Event Tournament, combining our tournaments into one. Entry forms will be available online and/or at local golf shops this Spring.
