LAGA wishes to thank all of our current sponsors, and to acknowledge that what we do would be impossible without their support. Sponsors helps in several ways, first of which is to enable us to provide greater help with our chosen charities. In addition, we use a portion for tournament supplies, trophies, and possible underwriting of green fees to attract greater participation in our tournaments, as well as enhancing overall player enjoyment.

How does becoming a LAGA sponsor benefit me?

Frankly we believe in asking for financial support in the "old-fashioned" way - we're going to earn it! We strongly believe that the LAGA Sponsorship Program is one of the better, if not the best, advertising values available in Lawrence today!  There are already a number of current benefits and LAGA is continually working to enhance the relationship between members and sponsors. Benefits are detailed in the table below, but overall it can be an inexpensive way to advertise both your business and your commitment to the Lawrence/Douglas County community. Here's some of the high points:

  • Option of inserting any of your company information into our player packages which are distributed at every tournament.
  • Option of having a company representative present at all LAGA tournaments and other functions to personally discuss your companies benefits, products and services.
  • Company recognition on the course itself with "hole sponsor" or other signs and/or banners.
  • Recognition on the LAGA website with linkage to your company website.
  • You're eligible to utilize the LAGA member list for emailing notices of sales or other special events during every calendar you sponsor.
  • Direct contact with a large number of individuals who have disposable, discretionary income.
  • Finally it's tax deductible since it is a legitimate business advertising expense!

What does an ad in the newspaper cost these days?  How about a 30 second spot on the local cable channel, or local radio station?  While all of these are valuable advertising mediums, most of them are "one-time" impacts - unless of course you want to continue to spend more money. A LAGA sponsorship potentially works for you 24/7 - 365 days a year, all for one investment!  Your company information is always available at our website, and LAGA members do know who our sponsors are!
